These test methods were developed,
and in some cases adapted from TAPPI or ASTM methods, for the initial
purpose of resolving disputes regarding online buying and selling of
recyclable materials. The methods do not provide an Acceptance Quality
Level or acceptance criteria, but do provide suggested sampling and
testing methods to evaluate the quality and properties of various forms
of recovered fiber.
