Turtle Plastics processes over 200,000 pounds a month of post-industrial and post-consumer plastic. They developed a wheel chock manufactured from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene, specifically for large vehicles used in the fire and rescue industry. This project performed traction testing of the chock with actual fire trucks and certified the chock to a published standard of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
