The number of complaints filed by military service members under USERRA dipped slightly for fiscal year 2023 but is still near a historic high, data from the Labor Department’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL-VETS) show. Military service members submitted 981 USERRA complaints to DOL-VETS in FY 2023, a 3% drop from the 1,009 complaints in FY 2022. There have been higher numbers of USERRA complaints in the past two years than in the previous six years.
