The EEOC has asked the White House Office of Management and Budget to approve publication of a proposal that could rescind EEO-1 reporting requirements for covered employers.

While this is an early procedural step and the proposal has not yet been made public, it introduces uncertainty about the timing and structure of the 2026 EEO-1 reporting cycle, or even whether there will be a 2026 EEO-1 reporting cycle at all.

This members-only roundtable will examine where the process currently stands, what this development may signal, and the key issues employers should be monitoring as the situation evolves.
