The Census Bureau’s EEO Tabulation at Your Fingertips

The U.S. Census Bureau’s EEO Tabulation is the “go to” resource for the most detailed and reliable information on the demographic diversity of the U.S. labor market. Its databases contain millions of records on the race/ethnicity and gender diversity of more than 200 Census Occupation Codes (OCC) across thousands of geographic areas. Our tools allow member-subscribers to mine these data in support of their affirmative action program availability estimates, as well as the representational components of their diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Features include:

  • The ability to select and analyze national, state, and local availability estimates by gender, minority status, and individual race/ethnicity category
  • A comparison tool for researching geographic areas and occupations by their respective gender and race/ethnicity representation rates
  • A crosswalk tool for mapping old OCCs to current OCCs, and a separate tool for finding the best OCC for tens of thousands of job titles
  • Margin of error estimates allowing users to determine confidence levels in each availability estimate
  • Downloadable charts and graphs displaying availability numbers and percentages
